Tip #1: When using any of Custer Products magnetic based products, you must have a clean flat, metal surface. This will provide a strong and sturdy hold.
Tip #2: If it becomes necessary to replace the light bulb for the ATL20A, remove the lens by using a coin. Place the coin in the slot between the colored lens and black housing. Simply twist the coin, and the lens should pop right off. Replace the lens by popping it back into place.
Tip #3: Always visually check all functions of your towing lights, to assure they are working properly.
Tip #4: When changing the 1118AC from a magnetic base, to a spring clamp base, simply remove the wing nut, remove the bolt and replace the appropriate base. The same bolt and wing nut will fit for both magnetic and spring clamp bases.
Tip #5: When hard wiring plugs for any towing lights, please refer to the FAQ Archive for wiring schematics. Custer Products supplies two styles of plugs, 4-Flat and 4-Round.
